The Hollywood Plot: Bonnie and Clyde meet up while trying to escape their small town life. They run a number of small cons before really getting busy. Their thefts get the attention of the law enforcement who hounds them relentlessly. Finally, one of their former partners sells them out and Bonnie and Clyde are surrounded and well, killed.Abhishek and Rani team up as partners in crime as they try to steal all of India's money in this hilarious movie! Starting out as two innocent souls fed up of the small-town life, the two run away in hopes of fulfilling their big dreams of fame and fortune. After running into too many road blocks, they try to go the easy way out by, well, stealing. They never run out of ideas to fool people. The best and most creative scene is the one with the Taj Mahal! Both Abhishek and Rani give a great performance. All the songs are great it Chupke Se or Dhadak Dhadak. This movie features the king of item numbers with the Bachchans and the mesmerizing Aishwarya in Kajra Re. She finally does an entertaining role, be it just a song, after all, her serious films like Raincoat and Chokher Bali. Coming from U.P. and being intimately familiar with some of the filming locations, I took full delight in watching this movie! Amitabh, of course, is excellent. His music video is fantastic. Just when you think you've laughed all you could, Amitabh makes sure his rapping skills leave your eyes watering! Rakesh{Abhishek Bachchan} and Vimmi{Rani Mukherji} are two ambitious wannabes from small towns where their dreams are written off as outrageous daydreaming. They run away from their homes when bumping into each other and decide to con for once to be financially sound until they make it big. Ironically, they find it too exciting. One follows the another as they adopt fake names [Bunty and Babli] for the same and they soon become the most popular anonymous criminals of the nation. At the heart of it kicks off their romance and they decide to continue their newly-found 'talent' as their means of living. Little do they know that their shenanigans have caught the fancy of ACP Dashrath Singh {Amitabh Bachchan} big time. He leaves no stone unturned in putting them behind the bars. Meanwhile, Rakesh and Vimmi have a child and decide to quit conning for their child's sake. However, it is only then when Dashrath Singh manages to get their grab. But he releases them after initial incredulity about Written by B.H.Harsh Rakesh Trivedi (Abhishek Bachchan) comes from a small village. His father is a ticket collector on the train and wants him to get into a similar occupation as well. However, Rakesh has big dreams; he is forever coming up with new business plans and is convinced he will make it big one day. He adamantly refuses any notion that he will one day work in a 9-to-5 environment.
