Sticking with the entertainment industry... revenge drama ″The Revenant″ and space adventure ″The Martian″ took top honors at this year′s Golden Globes.

″It′s very rewarding. You know， we had a very solid opening weekend because I think people appreciate seeing a different type of cinema out there， a more visceral type of movie.
British comedian Ricky Gervais repeated as the event′s host. He′s known for skewering Hollywood and many of the event′s attendees.
Bruce， the Golden Globes are viewed somewhat as a barometer for the upcoming Academy Awards， next month.
That′s right. In recent years， several films have taken the top Globes and gone on to win the Oscar for best picture.
