video thumbnail
Naseeruddin Shah says "I celebrate Diwali by bursting crackers with my kids, however, I stay away from the rocket and loud crackers since I don't want to hurt my ears at this age. I try to run away from Mumbai. There is no comparison between the writing that is done for films and the writer's play we act on stage and this is the only reason I prefer being active in theatre."

Naseeruddin Shah was born on July 20, 1950 in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, India. He is an actor, known for The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (2003), A Wednesday (2008) and Iqbal (2005). He has been married to Ratna Pathak Shah since April 1, 1982. They have three children.
