Steve Davis, curator for the Southwest Writers Collections, introduces Bill Minutaglio, author of In Search of the Blues: A Journey to the Soul of Black Texas. BIll begins by explaining his topic in more detail and the motivation he had for writing about this topic since he was a child growing up. Bill then expands on intimate portraits of people and communities, which offer an understanding of the sweeping evolution of music, race, and justice in Texas.
