A would-be thief has been caught on camera failing miserably at trying to steal and ATM from a Townsville store. At about 3:45am on Wednesday May 13, the man used a stolen white Holden Rodeo Ute to carry out his plan. He took a chain and wrapped it around the ATM and then hopped back inside the ute, thinking he could pull the ATM behind him. However he failed to realise that he has forgotten to attach the chain to the ute and he drove away with nothing, leaving the ATM in the store with the chain wrapped around it.
