When asked why he thinks more Americans are not in support of impeachment against President Donald Trump, Sen. Bernie Sanders said he’ll be “making the case that we have a president who has sold out the working families of this country.” Sanders said Trump has “sold out the working families of this country” and has cut Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid after he promised he would not. Sanders added that Trump’s temperament has been “dishonoring the presidency of the United States.” Sanders is one of the seven Democrats vying for their party's 2020 presidential nomination who met on the stage for the sixth Democratic debate on Dec. 19, hosted by the PBS NewsHour and POLITICO.
