Welcome to our sermon, "The Biggest Beneficiary of Serving is You!" In this powerful message, we explore the profound impact that serving others has on our own lives. Discover how taking action to serve can transform your physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.

Serving is action. Without action, service is just empty words. It's like water without wetness or air conditioning without coldness. Studies show that volunteering improves our physical and mental health:

88% reported improved self-esteem.
79% experienced lower stress levels.
78% felt greater control over their health and well-being.
A study by Carnegie Mellon University found that adults over 50 who volunteered regularly were less likely to develop high blood pressure, a major risk factor for heart conditions. Today, I aim to show you how serving benefits the giver more than the receiver.

Philippians 2:1-4 MSG & Philippians 2:5-8 NIV

1 If you've gotten anything at all out of following Christ, if his love has made any difference in your life, if being in a community of the Spirit means anything to you, if you have a heart, if you care –
2 then do me a favor: Agree with each other, love each other, be deep-spirited friends.
3 Don't push your way to the front; don't sweet-talk your way to the top. Put yourself aside, and help others get ahead.
4 Don't be obsessed with getting your own advantage. Forget yourselves long enough to lend a helping hand.

Be the biggest beneficiary of serving. Take action today!
