Cleveland weather forecast for Wednesday, February 28, 2024.
Two rounds of storms and then a pretty big temperature drop. Not bad for a 12-hour span of February weather here in Northern Ohio. After dealing with some early morning storms -- including a Tornado Watch in Holmes County -- we're now preparing for a big drop in temperatures. Believe it or not, we'll drop from the low 60s in the morning to the 30s at noon to the 20s for the evening. Yes, some lake snow will be scattered around. Take a look at the change in temps vs 24 hours ago--amazing how drastic a drop is expected! The cold air is coming in with a lot of momentum, so windy conditions are expected. Highest wind gusts will likely be closer to the lakeshore and in the higher terrain areas, which is why a Wind Advisory has been issued for multiple counties. The good news is that this frosty blast won't last long. Warmer air returns for the weekend and into next week! Here is your 3-day Cleveland weather forecast. TODAY: Morning rain and storms, windy, early highs near 60 with temperatures sharply dropping into the lower 30s at noon, then 20s late day. Scattered snow showers (especially east of Cleveland) afternoon and evening. THURSDAY (Leap Day!): Morning clouds, then some sunshine. 30s. FRIDAY: Hello March! Partly cloudy skies. Temperatures rebounding back into the 50s.
