Chance is you already have a Ring Doorbell. It might be a good idea to get additional devices within the same ecosystem. After you subscribe a few of them to the Ring plan, it is better to get a flat rate (AYCE) plan for unlimited devices. Videos are securely saved in the Cloud, so there is no DVR for someone to take.

Set up a simple smart home with Alexa routines (triggers and actions) which is FREE with Alexa devices. Similar to IFTTT that you have to pay a small fee.
