Hatred or hostility toward another person is something that anyone can feel, not just Narcissists. But narcissists usually lose all control when it comes to envy. It's true that jealousy can put other people in danger. Some people might try to hurt you or trick you because they want what you have. Jealousy can make people feel and do a lot of bad things. This group includes things like dislike, lying, slander, infidelity, theft, and murder. When dealing with a narcissist, who is more likely to do bad things to get what they want, knowing the signs of jealousy can help you keep your self-respect.
They're not who they say they are. This makes them start to act like the target and give themselves the qualities you value. When you meet a new person and find out that you have many of the same likes and dislikes, this is a good sign that you should keep an eye on this person. They might be copying what you do. They will tell you more about themselves than show you who they really are. As you get to know someone better, you'll notice that the words they use to describe themselves don't really describe who they are.
