GO TO @hestanculinary or www.hestanculinary.com Recipe for Perfect Crispy Hashbrowns: 1 Russet potato grated on a box grater (I leave the skin on and washed of course) 4-5 tbsp canola oil 1 tbsp butter Salt Step 1: wash and grate your potato. Rinse and squeeze out the excess starch. Dry thoroughly by squeezing out all the water and drying on paper towels. Step 2: heat an 8 in skillet to medium high heat. Add oil amd butter. Step 3: add dried shredded potatoes and gently flatten. Step 4: cover with a lid for 5-6 minutes until you see the outside edges turning brown and crisp. Step 5: lift lid and season your Hashbrowns then flip. Step 6: cook in this second side for 4 minutes. Step 7: flip this over onto a plate and serve.
