Did Cincinnati Just Change Forever? |
|
City Council gave final approval to Connected Communities, a zoning change that provides new housing development opportunities and could change Cincinnati forever.
Connected Communities allows more housing to be built near major transit routes and neighborhood business districts. For example, along major transit corridors, property owners directly on the street would be allowed to, by right, build or renovate existing structures to have two, three or four units regardless of the current zoning. For real estate investors looking to develop in the city, this vote could create new opportunities, while offering more housing options to a market that is struggling with affordability. We'll discuss the change and what it means for the city as well as give an update on the Cincinnati real estate market in this week's Team Sztanyo LIVE.
