Shao, also known as General Shao but more commonly known as Shao Kahn, is a fighting games character in the Mortal Kombat series. A powerful tyrant of the Outworld throne, he is one of the most celebrated villains in not only the fighting game genre, but the video game genre as a whole. He serves as the main antagonist of the franchise. Shao Kahn made his debut in Mortal Kombat II as the final boss and the main antagonist, a role he also served in Mortal Kombat 3 and in later games. He later returned as the non-playable final boss in Mortal Kombat (2011), serving as the main antagonist of the game's Story Mode. He appears in Mortal Kombat 11 as a pre-order bonus character and secondary antagonist in the game's Story Mode and the Aftermath expansion. A new version of Shao Kahn returns in Mortal Kombat 1 / 12, serving as an antagonist in the game's Story Mode. Mortal Kombat is a media franchise centered on a series of fighting video games originally developed by Midway Games in 1992. The original Mortal Kombat arcade game spawned a franchise consisting of action-adventure games, a comic book series, a card game, films, an animated TV series, and a live-action tour. Mortal Kombat has become the best-selling fighting game franchise worldwide and one of the highest-grossing media franchises of all time. The series has a reputation for high levels of graphic violence, including, most notably, its fatalities, which are finishing moves that kill defeated opponents instead of knocking them out. Controversies surrounding Mortal Kombat, in part, led to the creation of the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) video game rating system. Early games in the series were noted for their realistic digitized sprites and an extensive use of palette swapping to create new characters. Following Midway's bankruptcy, the Mortal Kombat development team was acquired by Warner Bros. Entertainment and reestablished as NetherRealm Studios. so, l hope u enjoy my 4th episode of outdated version of my MK series all endings with all MK1 / 12 characters video, and uh, l'll be back to some more fighting games character themes versions, fighting games playthroughs or maybe game over compilation content very soon as possible. and if u guys don't forget SMASH the like button, comment & subscribe to the fighting game content, l'm greatly appreciate that. and let's get this GO compilation volume series to 50 likes and l'll will do another new GO compilation volume video very soon. anyways, as always, l hopefully u enjoy my 4th episode of outdated version of my MK series all endings with all MK1 / 12 characters video, l see you for more fighting game content very soon :) enjoy & I'll catch you guys on the fighting game crew! #shaokahn #generalshao #mortalkombat #MK #midway #netherrealmstudios Follow Axel Hunter: Twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/axelhunter321 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/axel.hunter.321520/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/hunter_axel321/ Twitter (X): https://twitter.com/AxelHunter321 TierMaker: https://tiermaker.com/user/137019 |
